Engineering Manager (Go)

Location: Hybrid work format in Limassol, Paphos, or Tbilisi

What you will do

• Analyze feature requests and translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Design resilient distributed architectures and oversee backend and frontend component development.
• Collaborate with development teams and project managers on integrations, technical approaches, and delivery timelines.
• Conduct code reviews and improve engineering practices, release processes, and CI/CD workflows with DevOps engineers.
• Participate in technical interviews, onboard developers, and support team growth through 1:1 meetings and performance reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager, including architecture, team motivation, and team growth.
• Strong backend development skills in Go or Java.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design patterns, network protocols, APIs, microservices, and the full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, DevOps tools, and relational and non-relational databases.
• English at B1 level or higher and strong Russian are required.
