What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of international payroll projects, including data input, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Ensure strict compliance with global statutory requirements and tax laws.
• Optimize and utilize HRIS/payroll systems like Dayforce or Workday for efficient processing.
• Collaborate with internal HR, Finance, and Legal teams as well as external EOR partners.
• Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and compliance challenges proactively.
• Support global expansion efforts by integrating strategic goals into payroll planning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in international payroll processing.
• Deep expertise in Portugal payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes for international markets, particularly Singapore.
• Proficiency with enterprise-level HRIS and payroll systems such as Workday or Dayforce.
• Experience managing Employer of Record (EOR) models and third-party payroll providers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Relevant payroll certification (e.g., CPP or international equivalent).
• Experience with global equity compensation administration.
• Background in a high-growth fintech or startup environment.
