Field Application Engineering Manager (AI): Leading a team of FAEs to support customers in the evaluation and deployment of the Metis AI platform with an accent on technical excellence and customer success. Focus on bridging the gap between hardware and AI, solving complex technical challenges, and driving strategic execution in the Americas market.

What you will do

Lead, mentor, and expand the Americas FAE team to ensure high-quality technical support.
Oversee the full customer engagement lifecycle from initial evaluation to post-production.
Act as the senior technical escalation point for complex issues, collaborating with R&D teams in Europe.
Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive go-to-market execution and strategic account growth.
Define and implement scalable support processes to ensure consistent customer engagement.
Advocate for customer needs by providing actionable feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in Field Application Engineering, Technical Sales, or Customer Success in semiconductor, AI, or embedded sectors.
2+ years of experience in managing technical teams.
Hands-on expertise in AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and edge computing systems.
Proficiency in C/C++, Python, OpenCL, or CUDA programming.
Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel 30-40% of the time.
