What you will do

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team across IT Support, Systems Engineering, and IT Automation.
• Own the strategy, administration, and security optimization of the Google Workspace environment at scale.
• Manage the SaaS application portfolio and IAM practices to drive consolidation and ensure return on investment.
• Define and execute an automation roadmap using AI to scale internal support capabilities.
• Partner with Security, People, and business stakeholders to ensure systems are audit-ready and compliant.
• Establish clear team goals, career development frameworks, and a culture of technical ownership.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site 1-2 days per week in NYC.
• Proven experience leading technical teams in enterprise technology, IT operations, or systems engineering.
• Deep expertise with Google Workspace administration, including security policies and identity management.
• Strong foundation in IAM principles and implementing access governance frameworks.
• Experience managing diverse SaaS portfolios, vendor relationships, and license optimization.
• Track record of leading cross-functional technical initiatives in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Apps Script for custom automations.
• Experience with ITSM platforms like Jira or ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Kandji or Jamf.
• Background in automating employee lifecycle processes.
