What you will do
- Serve as the key DRI for the ML System powering the Personalization Engine, ensuring system reliability and model effectiveness.
- Lead and execute engineering work from MLOps to sophisticated ML modeling, guiding the ML engineers on your team.
- Conduct code and design reviews, contributing to a culture committed to technical excellence and product impact.
- Improve and expand the feedback loop that captures patient reactions to real-time decisions, ensuring models learn autonomously.
- Partner with Product and Design to translate patient journey touchpoints into concrete ML problems.
Requirements
- Must be based in the USA
- 6+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering, building and deploying ML-powered personalization systems or recommendation engines at scale.
- Expertise in both Python and SQL.
- 2+ years of experience managing ML engineers and scientists, leading a team to execute on a technical roadmap.
- Experience collaborating closely with product leaders and software engineers.
- Ability to formulate a business problem as a supervised, unsupervised, or reinforcement learning task.
Nice to have
- Experience with agentic personalization and Generative AI features.
- Experience leading the build of software products, beyond the AI/ML components.
