What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and hire a team of backend and fullstack engineers to foster professional growth.
• Drive code quality, security, and performance improvements across the decisioning platform.
• Manage agile processes including sprint planning and execution to ensure reliable feature delivery.
• Communicate product and technical decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support the team by tracking metrics and resolving blockers to keep development efficient.
• Promote technical ownership and ensure the reliability of highly scalable application architectures.

Requirements

• 6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Must be local to Greater New York City area.
• Intermediate-to-expert proficiency in full-stack JavaScript and/or Python.
• Proven background in AWS infrastructure and highly scalable architecture design.
• Strong experience in agile project management and team mentorship.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative servant leadership.

• Background in developing features leveraging ML or AI technologies.
