Salary: $213,000–$269,000

What you will do
- Manage, mentor, and hire a team of backend and fullstack engineers to foster professional growth.
- Drive code quality, security, and performance improvements across the decisioning platform.
- Manage agile processes including sprint planning and execution to ensure reliable feature delivery.
- Communicate product and technical decisions to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Support the team by tracking metrics and resolving blockers to keep development efficient.
- Promote technical ownership and ensure the reliability of highly scalable application architectures.
Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Must be local to Greater New York City area.
- Intermediate-to-expert proficiency in full-stack JavaScript and/or Python.
- Proven background in AWS infrastructure and highly scalable architecture design.
- Strong experience in agile project management and team mentorship.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on collaborative servant leadership.
