What you will do

• Lead and grow the Verifications engineering team, setting technical direction and driving career development.
• Own the reliability and quality of fulfillment integrations, partnering with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Product to define and execute the roadmap across employment, education, drug and health, and compliance products.
• Drive technical strategy for scaling a complex, integration-heavy system, improving coverage and reducing manual exceptions.
• Lead the team's adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
• Represent Verifications in cross-functional planning with Product, Compliance, and Engineering leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years as an engineering manager, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
• 8+ years as a software engineer, with strong command of service architecture, distributed systems, and system design.
• Experience managing complex third-party integration environments.
• A track record of improving operational metrics.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools.
• Experience working on regulated products where data accuracy and legal compliance are non-negotiable.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
