Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote across the Americas, including the United States, Canada, and LATAM

Salary: US $200K–$315K, Canada $170K–$250K, or LATAM $120K–$205K, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead a team building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Set technical direction and raise engineering standards across the team.
• Hire, develop, and retain high-performing engineers.
• Balance high standards with empathy while maintaining speed and quality.
• Own outcomes for the team’s product area.
• Help solve engineering challenges spanning performant user interfaces, complex data modeling, and large-scale integrations.

Requirements

• Experience leading teams that shipped meaningful products and building complex B2B products at scale.
• Strong technical depth and the ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
• Experience hiring and developing high-performing engineers.
• Clear, direct, and persuasive communication across different audiences.
• Alignment with high autonomy, high expectations, and respectful people leadership.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Python, React, Node, GCP, BigQuery, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, GitHub Actions, and Datadog.
