Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid work from the SF office three days per week

Salary: $188,000–$235,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and architect major product features using the latest AI advancements.
• Build clinician-facing experiences used across ambulatory, emergency, and inpatient settings.
• Anticipate system bottlenecks and re-architect key components before they affect customers.
• Lead strategically important product initiatives while reducing technical debt.
• Maintain high code quality and help improve engineering processes.
• Own product initiatives end-to-end, from discovery with product and design partners through production delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years solving challenging zero-to-one software engineering problems across multiple teams.
• Strong product judgment and focus on end-user experience.
• Experience across the stack with modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS or GCP, Postgres, and Docker.
• Ability to own execution in complex, uncertain, and ambiguous environments.
