Growth Engineer (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; on-site, with a preference for hybrid in-office work.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and launch growth features and experiments across the platform.
• Build scalable A/B testing and personalization systems to improve acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
• Analyze product data to identify growth opportunities and measure initiative effectiveness.
• Prototype and ship product surfaces, onboarding flows, engagement loops, referral features, and sharing capabilities.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and user experience for growth-focused features.
• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, and data teams on high-impact initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in product or growth teams.
• Experience building and optimizing user-facing features for consumer or SaaS products.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks, A/B testing, and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into scalable solutions.
• Proficiency with modern web or backend technologies such as Python, Go, Node.js, or TypeScript.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with generative AI, creative tools, or social platforms.
• Background in high-growth startups or rapid experimentation roles.
• Experience with open source, hackathons, or growth hacking.
• Familiarity with Amplitude, Segment, Google Analytics, or similar growth analytics platforms.
