Growth Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$175,000 annually for other US locations; $145,000–$200,000 annually for premium markets including San Francisco, New York City, and Seattle. Equity is also offered.

What you will do

• Build and ship experiments across signup, onboarding, activation, and monetization flows.
• Design clear, polished human UI including forms, empty states, navigation, and microcopy.
• Build AI-assisted onboarding, in-product agents, and guided workflows that help users reach value faster.
• Define hypotheses, add instrumentation, launch experiments, analyze results, and iterate using tools such as GrowthBook.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, marketing, and engineering teams across the Cloud Console and application surfaces.
• Track acquisition, activation, and monetization metrics to measure product impact.

Requirements

• Experience in full-stack product engineering with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience building and measuring AI features or working with LLM and agent patterns, including tool calling, streaming, evaluations, and prompt or system design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, Git, and collaborative code review.
• Familiarity with experimentation or A/B testing tools such as GrowthBook, Optimizely, or LaunchDarkly.
• Ability to ship small, testable product versions and iterate based on results.
• Excellent communication and daily collaboration skills across product, design, data science, marketing, and engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience on a growth or product-led-growth team with a self-serve funnel.
• Experience shipping polished UI experiments and agentic or AI-assisted product experiences.
• Experience with ClickHouse or other data-intensive analytics products.
• Familiarity with Auth0 or similar authentication integrations.
• Experience partnering with platform or infrastructure engineering teams.
