AI Tutor - Arabic (AI)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $35–$45 per hour for US-based candidates. International compensation details are provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Label, annotate, record, and evaluate multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and other auditory content.
• Curate high-quality audio data representing natural speech, linguistic details, intonation, rhythm, accents, and professional recording standards.
• Help improve AI performance in speech modulation, accent variation, noisy real-world recordings, and multilingual audio processing.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve annotation tools and audio workflows.

Requirements

• Native Arabic proficiency with exposure to diverse accents, dialects, and regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear and natural vocal delivery.
• Strong auditory perception and the ability to identify pronunciation, intonation, accent, speech, and audio-quality nuances.
• Ability to transcribe and evaluate speech accurately across accents and varying audio quality.
• Ability to make independent, consistent judgments on ambiguous, noisy, or accented audio material.
• For work from a personal device: Chromebook, Mac with macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, cognitive science, or a related field.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice models.
• Professional voice experience, including voice acting, voice recording, podcasting, or similar audio production.
• Advanced transcription and annotation experience covering disfluencies, accents, intonation, stress, rhythm, and emotion.
• Voice samples, annotated transcripts, or an audio-related portfolio.
