French Audio Transcript Editor (AI Training)

Location: Fully remote, for candidates based in Casablanca and across Morocco

What you will do

• Review French audio recordings against existing transcripts.
• Correct spelling, word choice, punctuation, speaker attribution, and formatting errors.
• Ensure word-level accuracy and precise timing alignment.
• Flag unclear or ambiguous audio segments and document them according to project standards.
• Use annotation platforms and transcript editing tools to deliver polished transcripts.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on a flexible schedule.

Requirements

• Native or near-native French proficiency is required, including familiarity with North African and Maghrebi French varieties.
• Excellent listening comprehension across accents, registers, speaking speeds, challenging audio quality, and overlapping speakers.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain word-level accuracy and exact transcript timing.
• Ability to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules consistently.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently.
• No prior AI or technology experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience as a transcriptionist, court reporter, or stenographer.
• Background in subtitle editing, closed-captioning, or media localization.
• Training or experience in linguistics, phonetics, or language sciences.
• Experience with annotation platforms, data-labeling tools, transcript editing software, translation, proofreading, or editorial quality assurance.
• Familiarity with Moroccan French and other regional French accents and dialects.
