Compensation: $202,500 – $247,500 USD (Total Target Cash Compensation)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end design for your team, covering everything from strategic vision to final implementation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to design interfaces for data APIs, metadata management, and AI-enabled features.
• Think in systems to balance high-level strategic direction with precise, high-craft execution.
• Conduct user research to ensure design decisions are grounded in real customer needs.
• Mentor fellow designers and raise the quality bar through feedback and design critiques.
• Actively integrate AI tools into the design workflow to improve exploration, iteration, and efficiency.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design as an individual contributor.
• Portfolio demonstrating sharp strategic thinking and high-level craft.
• Strong depth in at least two disciplines: interaction design, visual design, prototyping, systems design, or research.
• Experience working on complex products such as analytics, data platforms, or developer tools.
• Ability to articulate design tradeoffs clearly and bring stakeholders along in the decision-making process.
• Curiosity and active engagement with AI tools in design workflows.

Nice to have

• Background in data visualization design or growth tooling.
• Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries.
• Previous experience working within distributed product teams.
