Training Specialist (Security)

TL;DR

Training Specialist (Security): Designing, developing, and delivering complex secure training programs for mission-critical infrastructure with an accent on technical documentation and compliance adherence. Focus on managing the full training lifecycle to meet contractual obligations and strategic business requirements in a high-security environment.

Location: Must be based within a 30-minute commute of Watford or Ipswich. This is an onsite role (5 days per week). Role requires DV (Developed Vetting) Security Clearance; applicants must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years to be eligible.

What you will do

• Define and execute L&D strategies to support secure training programs across the managed service sector.
• Design, develop, and deliver bespoke technical training interventions and secure programs.
• Author and manage all technical documentation required for L&D activities.
• Collaborate with virtual teams and high-profile stakeholders to align training with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with BT and HM Government security and assurance policies.
• Manage contractual obligations related to customer personnel training.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in technical and/or Telco industries.
• Proven track record in implementing highly complex, secure training programs.
• Experience in writing technical training bids and executing training across secure environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in HM Government security and compliance management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DV level security clearance (10+ years UK residency required).
• Strategic management skills combined with strong business acumen.
