Curriculum Development Manager (Individuals and Societies): Leading curriculum review and development for IB Diploma Programme subjects with an accent on linguistics or anthropology. Location: The Hague (NL), Cardiff (UK), or Washington (US). Fixed term period: no relocation offered. If position becomes permanent, must relocate to The Netherlands.

Salary: NL (HG16) EUR 72,851-91,063 annually including 8% holiday allowance; UK (HG16) GBP 49,314-61,642 annually; US (HG16) USD 96,722-119,879 annually.

What you will do

• Lead curriculum review and development for designated subjects and core components, ensuring vitality, rigour, and relevance.
• Coordinate with IB teams, regional offices, external stakeholders, and IB World Schools for cohesive implementation.
• Align curriculum with assessment strategies and develop innovative technology-supported resources.
• Integrate efforts across departments like publishing, IT, and project management.
• Manage projects within budget, timelines, and quality standards while staying updated on educational research.
• Author curriculum documents, manage communications, and provide professional development support for teachers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant discipline, educational leadership, or curriculum development.
• Significant post-qualification teaching experience in relevant curriculum areas.
• Strong understanding of current trends in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Excellent English writing skills; proficiency in Spanish or French desirable.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills; team collaboration.
• Proficiency in office software and willingness to use digital media innovatively.

Nice to have

• Experience teaching IB programmes (DP/CP).
• Experience in curriculum development or educational research.
• Experience writing for diverse audiences.
