TL;DR

Sr. SLED Account Executive (Networking): Managing and expanding business relationships for cloud-driven networking solutions with an accent on the SLED sector in the VA/MD/DC region. Focus on prospecting, driving demand, and navigating complex funding processes like E-rate to achieve aggressive quarterly sales quotas.

Location: Must be based in the US (VA/MD/DC area) with weekly travel required for customer and partner meetings.

Salary: $200,000–$275,000 (OTE 50/50 split)

What you will do

  • Prospect and develop new business relationships while managing the existing install base within the SLED (State, Local, and Education) sector.
  • Utilize solution sales expertise to identify customer needs and recommend effective wired, wireless, and network security solutions.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas and execute corporate strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Provide accurate business forecasting, pipeline development, and territory planning reports.
  • Demonstrate product value to prospective buyers and stay current on industry trends and company offerings.

Requirements

  • Must be a self-starter based in or capable of supporting the VA/MD/DC region.
  • Proven experience as a hunter in developing new prospective customers with a history of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong experience with sales forecasting, business plan development, and CRM tools like SFDC and Clari.
  • Knowledge of E-rate funding and the E-rate sales process.
  • Ability to travel weekly to meet with customers and partners.
  • Deep industry knowledge in networking and the ability to articulate the business value proposition.
