What you will do
- Prospect and develop new retail bedding business opportunities across assigned US regions.
- Establish and manage relationships with new retail accounts for mattresses and accessories.
- Generate business through both in-person and remote prospecting methods.
- Collaborate with the Retail General Manager to align on account priorities and growth objectives.
- Provide comprehensive support, including pricing, assortment direction, sales training, and warranty resolution.
- Participate in key industry trade shows to promote product lines.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling to mattress retailers with existing industry relationships.
- Strong drive to consistently exceed sales targets.
- Demonstrated consultative selling capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and account management.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Existing relationships with retailers in the Midwest, Northeast, or Mid-Atlantic regions.
- Experience representing complementary product lines such as accessories or adjustable bases.
- Established territory coverage and travel infrastructure.
