What you will do

• Manage end-to-end embedded software development lifecycles from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Prioritize and oversee development roadmaps, balancing new feature delivery with platform improvements.
• Collaborate across hardware, software, quality, and product teams to streamline development processes.
• Maintain and improve engineering documentation, toolchains, and internal processes.
• Coordinate releases across multiple device platforms and manage vendor technology partnerships.
• Champion architectural improvements and ensure system quality meets organizational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of total experience in embedded software engineering or technical program management.
• Proven experience managing embedded product lifecycles and complex engineering processes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities focused on embedded systems.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to work 4 days a week from the Tysons, VA office.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging.
• Experience with Linux and RTOS.
• Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
• Experience using the Atlassian Suite for project tracking.
