What you will do
- Serve as the primary product owner for the HR technology stack, managing configurations, upgrades, and vendor relationships.
- Lead Workday quarterly releases, including impact analysis, testing, and production support.
- Collaborate with IT to maintain system security, data privacy, and AI-related risk controls.
- Develop and implement system governance standards and documentation, specifically regarding responsible AI usage.
- Lead and mentor a team of senior HRIS specialists to ensure technical quality and operational consistency.
- Evaluate and deploy AI-enabled HR functionality, such as skills inference, intelligent reporting, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of progressive HRIS or enterprise systems experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience leading HRIS professionals or technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM is required.
- Must be able to work from the office 4 days per week in Tysons, Virginia.
- No sponsorship for employment authorization is available.
- Strong understanding of Workday Security, Business Process Framework, and HR system integrations.
