TL;DR

People Operations Leader (HR): Leading and evolving all core People Operations functions across the U.S. and Canada with an accent on operational excellence, data integrity, and scalable service delivery for approximately 2,500 employees. Focus on balancing operational rigor with digital enablement and AI adoption to serve as a strategic enabler of business performance.

Location: Must be based in the US (Washington DC, Chicago, or New York); Hybrid work model.

Salary: $108,000 – $150,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Lead and coach the U.S. and Canada People Operations team to drive service delivery and employee experience.
  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle processes including onboarding, changes, and offboarding with a focus on compliance.
  • Manage inquiries via ServiceNow and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and automation tools to optimize HR operations and reduce manual workload.
  • Serve as regional lead for Workday and ServiceNow operational excellence and data governance.
  • Partner with Global People Analytics and Centers of Excellence to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Shared Services.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a global or shared services environment.
  • Direct experience supporting a workforce of 2,000+ employees.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday implementation and daily operations.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements in the U.S. and Canada.

Nice to have

  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR or equivalent).
  • Experience in a professional services or matrixed organization.
  • Experience leading global projects related to technology enablement or process transformation.
