TL;DR

Compensation Analyst: Supporting the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs with an accent on maintaining accurate market benchmarking data and supporting compensation review cycles. Focus on leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance compensation operations and insights, in alignment with company growth objectives.

Location: This role is open to candidates based in or near Austin, TX.

Salary: $76,650 — $95,760 USD

What you will do

  • Administer and maintain participation in external compensation surveys and benchmarking tools.
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data to develop market-aligned recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations to ensure alignment and accuracy of compensation data.
  • Generate and maintain reports for compensation planning, talent reviews, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance compensation operations efficiency.
  • Apply AI-driven tools and methodologies to streamline compensation workflows, improve data analysis, and enhance reporting capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in compensation, finance, human resources, or a related analytical field is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, maintain high levels of accuracy, and support compensation processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with compensation survey tools (e.g., Radford) and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) is preferred
  • Foundational understanding of AI applications in HR, people analytics, or business operations is preferred
