TL;DR
Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): Supporting over 350 Engineers by acting as a trusted advisor and driving people-related initiatives with an accent on performance management, employee development, and organizational effectiveness. Focus on building strong relationships with department leaders and guiding management through complex employee relations and organizational change.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Tysons, Virginia (Hybrid: in-office Monday – Thursday)

What you will do
- Serve as a strategic HR partner for the Software Engineering organization, providing coaching and thought partnership to management.
- Manage key HR processes including performance reviews, employee development, succession planning, and hiring.
- Partner with business leaders to design approaches for enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Guide managers through complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance improvement plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams like Recruiting, Compensation, and Legal to implement scalable HR solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across different functions to gain insight into business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role.
- Must be able to work from the office in Tysons, Virginia, Monday – Thursday.
- No sponsorship for employment authorization available.
- Proven experience managing employee relations and delicate workplace situations.
- Strong client-service orientation and ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive deliverables.
