Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Greenville, South Carolina; hybrid role (4 days in office per week)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 software engineers in a highly collaborative environment.
• Manage the development of backend services, database design, and integrations for connected IoT devices.
• Set project timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable service-oriented architectures.
• Collaborate across teams to integrate diverse wireless and hardware technologies into the platform.
• Navigate competing priorities and ambiguous situations while making data-driven technical decisions.
• Foster an inclusive team culture and manage the full lifecycle of engineering talent, including hiring and professional development.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a people management role for software engineers.
• Strong backend-leaning development background with object-oriented programming (C# preferred).
• Experience with database design, networking principles, and building scalable service-oriented architectures.
• Ability to work from the office 4 days per week in Greenville, SC.
