Engineering Manager (Intelligent Machine Systems)

Location: Full-time onsite in Mossville, Illinois or Peoria, Illinois, five days per week. Domestic relocation is available. Travel up to 10% is required.

Salary: $159,120–$238,680 per year

What you will do

• Lead an engineering organization of approximately 10–25 professionals across electronic systems and software development.
• Provide staffing, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and career development for engineering team members.
• Lead new product introduction, lifecycle management, problem resolution, cost control, quality, and intellectual property management.
• Align product development with machine product organizations and global engineering partners.
• Provide technical leadership in system architecture, controls, integration, product development, and technology adoption.
• Drive execution, cross-functional collaboration, product quality, and continuous improvement across multiple product platforms.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Direct supervisory experience and strong organizational and staff-management skills.
• Experience with systems, controls, and/or embedded software development.
• Experience with new product introduction, new technology introduction, continuous product improvement, and software validation.
• Expertise in machine electronic systems engineering, including system architecture, controls, integration, and product development.
• Ability to lead diverse global teams and communicate complex technical topics in relation to business objectives.

Nice to have

• Experience driving requirements management, design quality, validation, reliability, functional safety, cybersecurity, and product performance.
