What you will do
- Retain and grow the merchant portfolio through sales calls, business reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
- Provide strategic consultancy to merchants on revenue optimization and marketing integration.
- Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to facilitate the go-live of enterprise partners and manage co-marketing campaigns.
- Analyze key data points to identify business opportunities and create custom sales presentations.
- Develop case studies and best practices to improve sales conversion rates and scale account management processes.
- Regularly engage with merchants through face-to-face meetings, industry events, and market visits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management or business consulting, preferably in e-commerce.
- Fluency in both Italian and English.
- Strong business acumen and proven success in upselling and cross-selling.
- Experience following a structured sales process with clear KPIs and leading indicators.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for merchant meetings and events.
