What you will do

  • Retain and grow the merchant portfolio through sales calls, business reviews, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Provide strategic consultancy to merchants on revenue optimization and marketing integration.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to facilitate the go-live of enterprise partners and manage co-marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze key data points to identify business opportunities and create custom sales presentations.
  • Develop case studies and best practices to improve sales conversion rates and scale account management processes.
  • Regularly engage with merchants through face-to-face meetings, industry events, and market visits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or business consulting, preferably in e-commerce.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
  • Strong business acumen and proven success in upselling and cross-selling.
  • Experience following a structured sales process with clear KPIs and leading indicators.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for merchant meetings and events.
