Engineering Team Leader (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Location: Remote (CET hours preferred). The team is primarily Russian-speaking.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 Fullstack developers.
• Balance hands-on coding (approx. 70%) with team management and architectural planning.
• Own the feature delivery lifecycle, roadmap adherence, and technical backlog maintenance.
• Design scalable technical solutions and align them with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance reviews, and onboard new team members.
• Ensure compliance with engineering guidelines and internal processes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a team lead or engineering management role.
• 3+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• 5+ years of experience in product companies using TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Redis.
• Strong people management skills including coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
• English B2+ proficiency is required for technical discussions and collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, collaborative environment.
