Salary: $180,000 – $210,000 USD (plus 10% annual bonus)

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting career growth through regular coaching and feedback.
• Drive technical excellence by conducting code reviews, reducing technical debt, and implementing scalable architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data partners to establish roadmap priorities and ensure predictable delivery.
• Shape engineering culture by promoting shared ownership, open communication, and accountability.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions for RESTful and GraphQL services in a cloud-native environment.
• Ensure reliability, maintainability, and scalability of production systems.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Proven experience leading teams in building business-critical, scalable applications across the full stack (React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript).
• Strong knowledge of container-based technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native architecture.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and automated testing tools like Playwright.
• Demonstrated success in leading the design and operation of modern web authentication and authorization systems (IAM).
• Ability to address performance issues and lead teams through ambiguous project environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Stripe-based payment flows and product configuration.
• Knowledge of logging and observability best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with high-availability, scalable SaaS applications.
