What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team of 3–6 members.
  • Write and review code to demonstrate best practices and share knowledge through pair programming.
  • Drive technical decision-making and balance quality with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and refine the technical roadmap.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders across the business.
  • Facilitate onboarding and provide system context to new team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring an engineering team.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript (Node.js and React).
  • Architectural design experience with scalable UI applications and APIs.
  • Strong track record of leading technical initiatives end-to-end.
  • Clear communication skills to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

  • Experience with data visualization tools for network graphs.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Datadog.
  • Background in cryptocurrency or blockchain technology.
