Location: This role is in-office in San Francisco at our headquarters working with the entire company five days per week. We are not open to remote candidates.

What you will do

• Serve as one of hirify.global's technical accounting experts in sales cycles and scoping conversations, translating complex accounting requirements into product solutions.
• Demo the hirify.global product and field technical accounting questions on live sales calls.
• Identify customer pain points and collaborate with the product and engineering teams to customize and build solutions.
• Guide the future product roadmap by channeling customer insights to the product development team.
• Develop marketing materials and contribute to the evolving go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• Deep accounting experience required. CPA is a plus - Our ideal candidate brings a mix of public accounting and industry accounting experience in the technology space.
• Familiarity with topics such as ASC 606 (revenue recognition), ASC 830 (foreign currency), and ASC 842 (lease accounting) is a plus. Experience applying AI to accounting workflows is a bonus.
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows such as period close and journal entry approvals.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with accounting software or financial technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to help build something from the ground up.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
