Deployment Strategist (AI/Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, with 3–4 days per week in the office. Domestic travel of approximately 10–20% is expected and may increase during critical deployment phases.

Base salary: $140,000–$240,000 per year, plus meaningful equity and potential sign-on bonuses.

The client is an AI-native software company building an operating system for mortgage servicing, combining loan records, money movement, workflows, task management, audit trails, and AI agents within regulated controls.

What you will do

• Own deployment workstreams from discovery and configuration through migration, launch, adoption, and business results.
• Map client workflows, identify platform gaps, and align leadership on priorities and sequencing.
• Investigate data across the platform, client operations, and capital-partner records, resolving discrepancies directly.
• Work with escrow, foreclosure, loss mitigation, and cash operations specialists to redesign processes.
• Translate operational findings into product and engineering requirements while coordinating compliance, executives, and external partners.
• Build reusable playbooks, internal tools, and AI workflows for the deployment function.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, or high-growth startups.
• Undergraduate degree from a top university.
• Demonstrated experience building playbooks, tooling, or processes from scratch.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and coding agents.
• Willingness to work hybrid in New York City or San Francisco, 3–4 days per week in the office.
• High agency, ownership, first-principles thinking, sound judgment, rapid learning, and the ability to work across executive, operational, product, engineering, and compliance contexts.
