People Generalist

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 USD

What you will do

• Manage employee relations, including disciplinary actions, documentation, and conflict resolution in partnership with People Partners.
• Analyze HR metrics from Workday and employee surveys to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
• Update and maintain People policies, SOPs, and internal documentation in Confluence.
• Partner with the benefits team to manage employee leaves and ensure adherence to company resources.
• Support annual HR initiatives such as performance reviews, merit planning, and engagement surveys.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations across relevant U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS for reporting and data management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence employees and managers.
• Ability to travel occasionally for business needs.

Nice to have

• SHRM or PHR Certification.
• Familiarity with Canadian employment laws and practices.
• Experience with Confluence and Jira workflows.
