What you will do
- Develop and execute business strategies across SLED and higher education accounts.
- Generate revenue while working closely with channel partners to expand market presence.
- Manage complex, full-cycle sales processes from initial prospect to post-sale account expansion.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships within universities and public institutions.
- Deliver technical and business proposals that demonstrate the value of VAST solutions against customer objectives.
- Prospect and penetrate large accounts to identify and engage key decision-makers.
Requirements
- Must have 7+ years of sales or account management experience, specifically within the SLED or Public Sector vertical.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing large strategic accounts.
- Experience developing and growing sales regions from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of storage architectures including NFS and Object Storage.
- Ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
