What you will do

  • Develop and execute business strategies across SLED and higher education accounts.
  • Generate revenue while working closely with channel partners to expand market presence.
  • Manage complex, full-cycle sales processes from initial prospect to post-sale account expansion.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships within universities and public institutions.
  • Deliver technical and business proposals that demonstrate the value of VAST solutions against customer objectives.
  • Prospect and penetrate large accounts to identify and engage key decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Must have 7+ years of sales or account management experience, specifically within the SLED or Public Sector vertical.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing large strategic accounts.
  • Experience developing and growing sales regions from the ground up.
  • Strong understanding of storage architectures including NFS and Object Storage.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at both business and technical levels.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
