TL;DR

Director Client Development: Driving business development initiatives and account strategy within Consumer Goods, Retail, Finance, Public, Energy & Utilities industries with an accent on innovation management, digital transformation, and scaling AI effectively. Focus on building C‑suite relationships, leading commercial processes, and mentoring high‑performing teams.

Location: Must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice. Office base location is London.

What you will do

  • Drive impact with the hirify.global brand into accounts in Consumer Goods, Retail, Finance, Public, Energy & Utilities.
  • Set and drive account strategy, driving business development initiatives in a complex consultative selling environment.
  • Help clients navigate challenges to scale AI effectively within their business.
  • Respond to RFP/RFIs, draft SOWs, costing up engagements and client negotiation.
  • Provide project management and people management skills.

Requirements

  • Experience (10–15 years) – Demonstrated success operating in complex consultative selling environments, ideally within large enterprise or multinational contexts.
  • Ability to define, articulate, and execute a strategic account vision for hirify.global, in close collaboration with the Capgemini Group Client Partner, ensuring alignment with broader group objectives.
  • A proven track record of driving measurable commercial outcomes. Skilled in building C‑suite and C‑1 relationships, shaping demand, and leading commercial processes including RFP/RFI responses, SOW creation, pricing, and negotiations.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor on end‑to‑end digital transformation journeys across business, experience, technology, and operating models.
  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape and how emerging solutions—AI, data, platforms, cloud—amplify hirify.global’s value proposition across strategic buying centres.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills, with an ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives and data-driven stories for senior stakeholders. Dutch language profieciency is preferred but not mandatory
  • Passion for innovation and hands‑on familiarity with advancements in data, AI, machine learning, and experience technologies, with the ability to guide clients on scaling these responsibly.

Nice to have

  • Deep knowledge of the specific target industry (e.g., Financial Services, Energy, Consumer Products, Public Sector, Healthcare, etc.), including market dynamics, regulatory context, and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with design-led methodologies such as service design, design thinking, product discovery, or user research, and how these are applied in end‑to‑end transformation.
  • Experience shaping and launching new digital products, services, or business models, from concept to market activation.
  • Hands‑on experience leading AI or data-driven transformation programs, including operating model design, governance frameworks, and scaling approaches.
  • Existing relationships with relevant technology partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Salesforce, SAP) and experience co‑selling and co‑delivering with partners.
  • A track record of representing organisations externally through keynote speaking, publishing insights, or contributing to industry forums.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across cultures and geographies, navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience in building or scaling a venture, practice, or capability from the ground up.
