What you will do

• Lead technical strategy, architecture, and implementation for the Domains group.
• Mentor and guide experienced software engineers across various levels to improve technical leadership.
• Drive engineering excellence through influence, design reviews, and fostering shared understanding.
• Align technical investments with business priorities and contribute to product roadmap planning.
• Write medium to long-term technical strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute hands-on code to complex projects and address ambiguous engineering challenges.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale, highly available, and reliable distributed systems.
• Proven track record of implementing long-term technical strategies.
• Ability to create effective designs for complex problems and lead teams to successful execution.
• Strong hands-on software engineering skills and a pragmatic attitude.
• Effective communication and feedback delivery skills.
• Must be able to work from the Aveiro, Portugal office 3 days per week.
