Marketing Creative Director (Valorant): Shaping and delivering world-class marketing campaigns for VALORANT Mobile in China with an accent on in-game content, gameplay trailers, and cinematics. Focus on creative strategy execution, vendor partnership management, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Location: Must be based in China.

What you will do

  • Demonstrate and support craft excellence on in-game and out-of-game marketing content.
  • Guide workstreams and uphold the bar for creative craft excellence within Riot, local publishing partners and in vendor partnerships.
  • Partner across multi-team and disciplinary, publishing, dev, consumer product, global and regional partners, including external partners — to align and elevate creative execution.
  • Collaborate with product manager, brand manager, creative directors, writers, art directors, producers, editors, directors, artists, and more to deliver creative that surprises and delights our players.
  • Innovate in the space of creative marketing and storytelling.
  • Be an active participant in the creative director discipline to ensure global creative quality bar is met and developed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or demonstrated equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in games marketing or creative agency with focus on gaming projects.
  • Impressive portfolio that demonstrates a proven track record of developing 360 campaigns from strategic creation to final delivery while building the foundation of a brand identity with a unique creative platform.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple marketing craft disciplines from Brand, Creative, Comms and Channels.
  • Level-headed approach to change management, conflict resolution and patience through the fluctuating creative development process.
  • Strong proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English

Nice to have

  • Understand what gaming competitors are doing to promote acquisition, fandom, and engagement.
  • Prior experience in the China market is a strong advantage.
  • PC and Console marketing experience optional.
