TL;DR
Business Development Manager (Life Science): Supporting sales growth and expanding 's footprint in the life sciences sector with an accent on identifying and nurturing leads, and developing relationships with potential clients. Focus on maximizing 's reach across target accounts through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts.
Location: Hybrid/Remote (United States). In-person attendance is required for two weeks during the year for Planning Weeks. Optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone.
Salary: The OTE for this position is $145,000 to $155,000. This role is eligible for stock options and an uncapped commission model.

What you will do
- Become a subject matter expert on 's offerings, effectively communicating our capabilities to advance the research priorities of prospective customers.
- Proactively engage and qualify inbound prospects and leads to create positive first impressions and build a robust pipeline.
- Utilize available information technology, prospecting tools, and sales strategies to research, identify, and penetrate new accounts.
- Work in sync with our Demand Generation and Account-Based Marketing teams, supporting ongoing campaigns to generate a strong pipeline.
- Collaborate closely with our partner teams to develop targeted lists, strategies, messaging, and outbound campaigns.
- Engage in both inbound and outbound prospecting efforts to ensure 's reach is maximized across target accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred; postgraduate degrees welcomed.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the Life Sciences, Real World Data, or analytics sectors.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding opportunity generation targets and effectively managing inbound and outbound pipelines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop external relationships and deliver compelling presentations.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, and proficiency in sales automation tools.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer as we are unable to sponsor work visas or permits (e.g. F-1 OPT, H1-B) at this time.
