Director, Solutions Engineer - EMEA (Identity Security)

Location: Must be located in London, the UK, the Netherlands, or Germany; remote work with travel, including up to 60% domestic travel and occasional international travel.

What you will do

• Build, develop, retain, and scale the Solutions Engineering & Strategy team across EMEA.
• Partner with Sales Directors and Regional Vice Presidents to position solutions, manage strategic opportunities, and drive enterprise revenue growth.
• Lead customer discovery, workshops, strategy sessions, presentations, and executive engagements.
• Create business cases, ROI analyses, scope definitions, cost estimates, solution briefs, white papers, webinars, and other sales-cycle documentation.
• Define deployment strategies and best practices while coordinating the transition from pre-sales to implementation.
• Collaborate with product management and delivery teams on RFPs, competitive intelligence, field feedback, and pre-sales artifacts.

Requirements

• Fluent English required; additional European languages are advantageous.
• At least five years of Solutions Engineering Management experience with Cloud Security, Privileged Access Management, Application GRC, and/or Identity Governance and Administration solutions.
• Strong expertise in identity governance concepts, including identity lifecycle management, entitlements, access requests, workflows, policies, roles, access certification, audit, reporting, and deployment scenarios.
• Experience with MySQL, Elasticsearch, REST APIs, PowerShell, Graph API, authentication and authorization standards, SSO, identity federation, and directory platforms.
• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, COBIT, CIS, NIST, PCI, and related security and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related field, or equivalent technical certifications and experience; strong communication, presentation, coaching, and customer management skills.

• Technical certifications such as ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Security Engineer.
