Senior Solutions Engineer (Identity Security)

Location: Remote from Japan; residence in Japan required. Approximately 25% travel within Japan is expected.

What you will do

• Support enterprise sales in Japan by partnering with direct and channel sales teams.
• Discover customer requirements and align hirify.global solutions with business and technical needs.
• Present product capabilities, business value, competitive differentiation, and enterprise use cases.
• Deliver product demonstrations and participate in onsite and remote Proof of Value evaluations.
• Coordinate RFP responses and provide product enhancement feedback to Product Management.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, Professional Services, Product Management, and partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, customer discovery ability, and business acumen.
• Working knowledge of web services, application servers, databases, virtualization, and directories.
• Understanding of modern SaaS architecture and complex enterprise environments.
• Thorough understanding of identity governance, user administration, and access management; 3+ years with identity, governance, and access management solutions is preferred.
• Residence in Japan and flexibility to travel within Japan are required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java, XML, LDAP, SQL, JSON, and Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• BA/BS degree or global equivalent.
• Experience with IT audits, regulatory frameworks, SOX, HIPAA, NERC-CIP, GDPR, or CCPA.
