What you will do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary integrations engineering team through coaching and performance management.
• Own the full technical lifecycle of integrations with PSPs, acquirers, and gateways, from design to production monitoring.
• Drive hands-on technical contributions, including architecture reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Champion an AI-first engineering culture by setting standards for AI-assisted development and automated testing.
• Guide architectural decisions for scalable, high-availability microservices.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to execute a fast-moving agile roadmap.

Requirements

• English: C1+ full professional proficiency required.
• Must be based in European time zones.
• 8+ years of engineering experience with a strong background in team management.
• Hands-on experience with backend development using Golang or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and SQL databases.
• Proven ability to manage technical decision-making and secure development practices like OWASP.

Nice to have

• Experience in the payments industry or with payment gateway integrations.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
