What you will do

• Lead and coach an autonomous team focused on DevOps tooling and developer experience.
• Drive the strategy for internal developer tools and cloud developer environments.
• Enable the team by removing blockers and fostering a culture of professional growth.
• Tackle complex infrastructure problems in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Maintain and scale high-availability public cloud systems.
• Maintain a hands-on approach through code reviews and pair programming when needed.

Requirements

• Experienced people leader with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Extensive experience across the full software life-cycle in multi-team environments.
• Background in building and maintaining large-scale, high-availability public cloud infrastructures.
• Experience with agile development practices and pragmatic delivery focus.
• Strong empathy for developer needs and motivations.
• Ability to work from the Helsinki office three days a week.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with the current stack: AWS, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, Logstash, GitHub Actions, Grafana, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Elasticsearch, VictoriaMetrics.
