Salary: $167,500 – $235,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Own large-scoped projects from discovery through launch with a focus on customer outcomes.
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of existing backend systems.
• Add capabilities to high-volume, fault-tolerant processing infrastructure.
• Enhance testing, monitoring, and continuous deployment workflows.
• Promote engineering excellence through mentorship, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure the security and compartmentalization of sensitive data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional hands-on software engineering experience.
• Mastery of modern server-side languages (Golang experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with SQL and database management.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure management, preferably AWS.
• Experience supporting and mentoring other engineers.
• Experience working closely with product managers and designers.
