What you will do

• Design and maintain large-scale projects for logging and experimentation as a subject matter expert.
• Scale in-house feature flagging frameworks to ensure low-latency execution for critical user paths.
• Define and implement high-fidelity logging APIs to support company-wide observability.
• Curate observability experiences by integrating vendor capabilities with internal workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Data Science teams to align infrastructure with strategic goals.
• Facilitate technical clarity through high-quality design documentation and mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software, data, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven track record of shipping production-ready backend services or distributed systems.
• Experience with or strong interest in distributed data processing, experiment rollouts, and observability platforms.
• Must be based in Vancouver and able to work from the office on a hybrid schedule.
• Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity.
