What you will do

  • Produce monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and key performance metrics for stakeholders.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting by collaborating directly with departmental leads.
  • Partner with R&D business units to influence strategic investment decisions and long-range planning.
  • Ensure financial data accuracy across planning tools and align processes with GAAP accounting policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial discussion materials for the board and executive leadership.
  • Implement and optimize financial processes, reporting initiatives, and forecasting tools.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and building sophisticated forecasting models.
  • Proven ability to guide long-range planning processes, specifically within R&D organizations.
  • Experience with finance and planning tools such as NetSuite, Anaplan, or Charthop.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills for presenting data-driven insights.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
