What you will do

• Create a variety of digital assets, including characters, sets, props, and vehicles, from production designs.
• Analyze pre-viz and production designs to create optimized assets that balance aesthetic beauty with technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Rigging and Surfacing departments to troubleshoot potential problems.
• Meet team and production deadlines as a self-motivated professional.
• Collaborate and communicate openly with Supervisors and Team Leads, mentoring junior artists as needed.
• Actively participate in team, departmental, and production meetings or screenings.

Requirements

• Experience: Junior (1–2+ years), Mid-Level (3–5+ years), or Senior (5+ years) of production experience.
• Artistic Eye: A keen eye for form, shape, and texture, paired with flexible, creative thinking.
• Core Tools: Solid experience with Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop.
• Mindset: A learning-centered attitude and a passion for strong design and technical execution.
• Eligibility: Legally eligible to work in British Columbia, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional software, including Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Blender, or Redshift.
• Comfort working within a Linux operating system.
