What you will do

• Create high-quality character assets, including clothing, hair, textures, and materials, aligned with the project's artistic vision.
• Lead the creation of complex hero characters from concept interpretation through to final implementation.
• Optimize assets for performance while adhering to technical constraints and game engine requirements.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Leads, and Technical Artists to ensure technical and artistic alignment.
• Contribute to the improvement of production pipelines and adopt new tools and workflows.
• Mentor less experienced artists to help drive overall visual excellence across the game.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a 3D Character Artist in the video game industry with shipped titles.
• Expertise in Maya or Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
• Deep understanding of anatomy, form, and visual storytelling for realistic characters.
• Proficiency in game-ready topology, UV unwrapping, baking, LOD creation, and Unreal Engine integration.
• A strong portfolio showcasing realistic character art and game-ready assets.
