TL;DR

Director of Professional Development (EdTech): Leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of professional learning programs for teachers and districts with an accent on pedagogical quality, operational efficiency, and large-scale impact. Focus on managing the PD team, aligning training initiatives with curriculum updates, and driving growth through strategic district partnerships.

Location: Full-time, 5 days per week onsite at the hirify.global Chicago office (River North).

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

What you will do

  • Manage, coach, and foster collaboration within the professional development team.
  • Oversee the design and improvement of workshops, webinars, cohorts, and certification programs.
  • Ensure PD content remains high-quality and aligned with curriculum and course updates.
  • Plan and execute PD events, focusing on participant experience and educational outcomes.
  • Monitor performance metrics and teacher feedback to drive ongoing program improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support district partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in education, professional development, or program leadership.
  • Proven experience managing teams and leading large-scale educational initiatives.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Experience using data and program metrics to drive decision-making and outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple internal departments.
  • Background in computer science education or edtech is considered a strong plus.
