What you will do

• Build and operate internal platform services and APIs using Go.
• Develop golden paths for self-service onboarding, deployment, and governance.
• Codify infrastructure using Terraform and GitOps practices.
• Scale Kubernetes clusters and traffic/ingress systems.
• Implement AI-assisted and agentic workflows to reduce operational toil and improve incident response.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for platform reliability.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada, UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or USA.
• 4+ years of backend software engineering experience in cloud or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go or similar languages.
• Experience shipping and operating production cloud services.
• Deep understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals, and cloud security.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a remote environment via RFCs and async collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and service meshes (L4/L7 load balancing).
• Familiarity with observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Background in CI/CD, progressive delivery, and FinOps practices.
