TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Managing the full sales cycle for performance solutions within the professional and community sports markets in Australia with an accent on the NRL and AFL sectors. Focus on building strong relationships with sporting leaders, identifying new growth opportunities, and driving revenue through consultative sales strategies.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of the Sydney office (hybrid role: 3 days in office/week)

Compensation: Base salary $55,000 – $80,000 AUD; OTE $110,000 – $160,000 AUD

What you will do

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead identification to closing deals.
  • Consult with club presidents and elite sporting leaders to demonstrate platform value.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with sports organizations and community clubs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and leverage support for deal success.
  • Travel across Australia to meet customers and represent the brand in the field.

Requirements

  • Must live within commuting distance of Sydney, Australia.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or account management with a proven track record.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Tech-savvy with a growth mindset, capable of learning new software quickly.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing an independent pipeline.
  • Ability to travel domestically within Australia for client meetings.

Nice to have

  • Strong interest in or understanding of AFL or NRL.
  • Experience in sports management, recruitment, or selling into the sports/fitness industry.
  • Familiarity with structured sales processes and pipeline management.
