Strategic Account Executive, DACH (AI SaaS)

Location: Remote, must be based in Germany

Glean develops a Work AI platform combining enterprise search, an AI Assistant, AI agents, SaaS connectors, flexible LLMs, and APIs on a secure platform.

What you will do

• Source and close new enterprise logos across the DACH territory.
• Build account strategies, generate pipeline, and deliver predictable bookings and ARR growth.
• Navigate complex organizations and identify executive sponsors and internal champions.
• Research customer objectives, lead value-driven sales cycles, and develop ROI and business justification reports.
• Run focused proofs of concept based on customer-defined success criteria.
• Collaborate with sales engineers, BDRs, product managers, executives, engineers, and other internal partners to advance deals and support customer success.

Requirements

• 10+ years of closing experience in sales with a record of top performance in SaaS sales.
• Experience closing complex deals and selling into complex organizations, including building relationships with C-level executives.
• Experience developing greenfield opportunities and building new territories with a repeatable sales method.
• Ability to learn, pitch, and demonstrate a highly technical product in a fast-changing environment.
• Knowledge of software, integrations, APIs, infrastructure management, security, and analytics.
• Must be based in Germany and understand the DACH regional market, cultural nuances, and business practices.
